Acrylic Surfacing

Routine Cleaning

    1. Sweep Regularly: Use a broom or a leaf blower to remove dirt, leaves, and debris from the surface. This should be done at least once a week or more frequently in high-traffic areas.
    2. Wash the Surface: Use a garden hose with a pressure nozzle to wash away any remaining dirt. For stubborn stains, use a soft-bristled brush and a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. You may also pressure wash up to 1500 PSI using a wide angle tip.

Annual Maintenance

    1. Inspect for Damage: Check the surface for cracks, peeling, or any other signs of wear and tear. Address any minor issues immediately to prevent them from worsening.
    2. Reapply Acrylic Coating: Depending on usage and weather conditions, reapply an acrylic topcoat every 2-3 years to maintain the surface’s appearance and durability.

Rubber Surfacing

Routine Cleaning

    1. Regular Sweeping: Similar to acrylic surfaces, use a broom or a leaf blower to keep the surface free from debris. This should be done at least once a week.
    2. Gentle Washing: Use a low-pressure garden hose to rinse the surface. For areas with more dirt accumulation, use a soft-bristled brush and a mild soap solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or high-pressure washers, which can damage the rubber. You may also pressure wash up to 3000 PSI using a wide angle tip.

Annual Maintenance

    1. Inspect for Wear: Look for any signs of wear, such as thinning areas or loose rubber particles. Promptly address minor repairs to prevent further damage.
    2. Replenish Rubber Granules: Over time, the top layer of rubber granules may wear away. Replenish these granules every 1-2 years to maintain the surface’s cushioning and safety properties.
